Delivery

At Jap'On Demande , every shipment is handled via Fedex or Japan's official postal service, Japan Post. Your items will be wrapped with the utmost care - expect generous and protective packaging! - and then shipped discreetly in unmarked boxes.

Our platform is designed to simplify your shopping experience down to the smallest detail. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout. Please note that due to the sometimes bulky nature of some items, some shipping methods may not be available.

Usually it takes 3-5 days for delivery from the shipping date for Fedex; 5-10 days for delivery from the shipping date for Small Packet and Airmail; and about 4~6 months for sea courier.

Since your satisfaction is our top priority, we will do our best to add other advantageous delivery methods for you.

Processing time

All orders are usually processed within 5-7 business days, Monday through Friday . In some special cases (rare or popular products, or during busy periods), this time may be extended to a dozen days. Please note that we do not process orders on weekends or Japanese public holidays.

It is important to note that the chosen shipping method has no impact on the order processing time. Therefore, even orders opting for express shipping will not benefit from priority processing or faster processing time.

 

Delivery Time

The delivery times displayed are average estimates in business days , based on our many shipments. It is important to keep in mind that the processing time is separate from the delivery time . In some situations, especially during peak periods such as Christmas or New Years, shipping and delivery may take longer than expected.

It is also worth mentioning that potential delays caused by customs procedures are not included in the estimated delivery time. If you are located in a country with strict customs, please allow additional time for your package to clear customs.

It is essential to understand that delivery is provided by the postal services and not by Jap'On Demande. Consequently, any delays attributable to the post office or customs do not give rise to any compensation, suspension or cancellation on our part.

If there is a significant delay in receiving your package, please contact our support team and your local post office. In some cases, the tracking status may not be updated correctly, even if your package is already at the post office or awaiting customs clearance. Please stay vigilant and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns.

Shipping Insurance

Jap'On Demande offers you the option of taking out Shipping Insurance when you check out to protect your package during delivery.

In the unlikely event that your package is damaged, lost or stolen, your order will be insured for replacement or refund, at the discretion of Jap'On Demande.

Availability & Prices

Items with the “ in stock ” badge are available and ready to ship within 5 working days (or a dozen days depending on the case and activity).

Our pricing system is continually updated to reflect price fluctuations in the Japanese market. As a result, prices may vary. Please note that we may offer a refund in the form of a credit if the order was placed less than 24 hours before the price drop. In the event that an item is sold at a loss, we reserve the right to cancel the item and refund the customer via their payment method.

The shipping costs displayed for some products are calculated based on weight information provided by the manufacturers. However, there may be times when this data is incorrect, resulting in shipping cost adjustments. If this is the case, we will contact you to inform you of any differences.

In rare cases, an item may appear to be available on our site when it is actually out of stock. If this happens, you will be notified immediately to find a suitable solution.

 

Availability of Exhibition Products

Display and pop-up store items are always considered pre-order items.

The availability of these products cannot unfortunately be guaranteed, due to the stock limits of these events. If unfortunately Jap'On Demande was not able to obtain the item(s) ordered, you will be refunded via your payment method.

Pre-orders

Pre-orders require immediate payment at the time of ordering. We are currently unable to accept deferred or partial payments. If your order includes both available and pre-order items, it will not ship until all items are available.

Weight and dimension estimates for delivery are based on data provided by the manufacturer prior to product release. However, this information may be inaccurate. In this case, we will contact you to inform you of any possible changes.

Release dates and shipping weight estimates are subject to adjustment. While we make every effort to keep product page dates up to date, changes may occur over time. Additionally, shipping weights may be adjusted and additional charges may apply when the item is released.

Some pre-order items may include pre-order bonuses. Details of these bonuses or their availability are based on manufacturer estimates and may differ from initial information. If pre-order bonuses are not mentioned in the product title, they will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

We generally aim to ship your pre-order shortly after the release date.

After-sales service

However, to avoid delays in processing emails, we kindly ask you to avoid sending more than one email at a time , and to ask all your questions while indicating your order number . Keep in mind that our team does its best to satisfy all our customers, there is no need to be aggressive or disrespectful.

Please also avoid sending an email with questions such as:

  • Did you receive my order? If you have been charged, we have received your order.
  • I ordered yesterday and I still haven't received my package, where is it? Your order is probably being processed, please be patient.

If the status of your order has not changed after a fortnight, and it is not a pre-order, then send us an email.

Return of package due to absence

If your package is returned to Japan due to your absence, Jap'On Demande will be charged return costs. If you want your package to be sent again, you will then be charged return costs + new shipping costs.
A package returned due to absence is not refundable.
